Sardinia is
one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Europe, and it is also one of
the most popular destinations for cruising. It is located on the west coast of
Italy, on the Mediterranean and is extremely popular with tourists from all
over the world. The beautiful rural mountains and the sophistication of Costa
Smeralda are just a small part of what this island adorns. Beaches, beautiful
towns, holiday resorts, historical sights and much more makes this island
magical. In addition to being one of the most popular tourist destinations,
Sardinia is one of the most popular cruises destinations in the Mediterranean.
Sailing to Sardinia is especially fascinating
Sardinia is
one of the best places to spend your summer holiday. Many beautiful beaches,
crystal clear waters, maritime landscapes that are framed by rocks, cliffs and
bays allow you to completely enjoy. Sardinia is a great island so that you can
fill the time with different activities. You can go to the small bays where
hidden pools are to enjoy in water sports. Walk around the architecture of
Cagliari and Alghero, the churches and castles and fortifications that bring
about thousands of years of history and culture of various civilizations that
lived on the island. For a complete experience of Sardinia, rent a boat and go
around the island's entire surroundings. Along the coast of Sardinia, there are
many marinas, and rented boat can be reached to the most interesting places,
even to the beach, which is not possible on many other islands.
The most
popular cruise venue for almost all tourists is Porto Cervo, as well as the
Costa Smeralda. You will enjoy here in warm summer days and meet many other
yachts. Sail to Isola dei Gabbiani, which is best for windsurfing and surfing.
Go north to the beautiful area of Maddalena and go to the islands that this
archipelago encompasses. Pass the Strait of Bonifacio sailing to Corsica, which
in some cases is part of the Sardinia sailing vacation. Most of the Sardinia
cruises largely include the tour of the Maddalena Islands, Sardinia's Emerald
Coas, in which Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo are central cities. Although the
Emerald Coast tour does not last long, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery that
will surround you, and after you arrive on the coast, you will be able to
indulge yourself with the local cuisine of Sardinia.
Considering that most of
the beaches allow you to anchor, you should definitely visit the Costa Smeralda
beach, which is famous for the emerald water of Cala Goloritzè in the Gulf of
Orosei and the Pelosa avenue which is located in the northwestern part of the
island in front of Piana Island. Combine your cruise with plenty of interesting
attractions, diving and enjoying the magnificent cities.
